Collisions close Trans Canada in two locations

Police have reopened a single lane along Highway 17 at Cavers Hill near Rossport following a motor vehicle collision. Nipigon OPP opened the single lane along the highway to traffic after they issued a closure around 9:40 a.m. Sunday.

Police have reopened a single lane along Highway 17 at Cavers Hill near Rossport  following a motor vehicle collision.

Nipigon OPP opened the single lane along the highway to traffic after they issued a closure around 9:40 a.m. Sunday.

Earlier in the morning Thunder Bay issued a closure notice for a different portion of the same highway because of what they called a serious motor vehicle collision just west of Highway 588. Police are advising motorists to take Highway 102 as a detour into and out of Thunder Bay.
