THUNDER BAY – Community Clothing Assistance is in desperate need of a new roof for its May Street North building and is turning to the public to help raise $138,000 to cover the costs.

The not-for-profit organization helps people in need by offering help through community programs for people living at a poverty income or in crisis by providing them with free clothing.

The CCA is the largest clothing bank in Thunder Bay.

“By supporting our organization, you support people in need in Thunder Bay,” said executive director Ewa Gulbinowicz in a release issued on Tuesday morning.

The charity helps about 200 families a month and has been in operation for the past 13 years. An open house will be held on Friday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at 404 May Street North

To donate, contact CCA at 474-3583 or email them at [email protected].
