Conquer the Tower raises nearly $30K

November 10, 2016 – Conquer the Tower made a big splash this Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Canada Games Complex. The annual fundraiser saw 17 brave participants take the plunge in support of P.R.O. Kids and the Thunder Bay Diving Club.

November 10, 2016 – Conquer the Tower made a big splash this Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Canada Games Complex. The annual fundraiser saw 17 brave participants take the plunge in support of P.R.O. Kids and the Thunder Bay Diving Club. 

Local businesses nominated an employee who agreed to jump from one of the Canada Games Complex platforms based on their level offunds raised. The top jump off the 10 metre tower saw participants raise $1,000 in pledges. The majority of this year’s participants were proudly able to conquer this considerable plunge.

Through sponsorships and pledges, Conquer the Tower 2016 raised $28,889 which brings the event’s five-year running total to $107,002.

Conquer the Tower 2016 was presented by Levaero Aviation. “I have had the privilege of working with the organizing committee for the past few months," said Robert Arnone, CEO and President of Levaero Aviation.

"Working with this group is truly an honour.Their dedication is second to none and it thrills us to be a part of this event. I have had the opportunity to see first-hand the difference P.R.O. Kids can make in a child’s life. Supporting our youth is not an option, it’s our obligation and we are proud to do our part by sponsoring this fantastic event.”    

P.R.O. Kids and the Thunder Bay Diving Club would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers who made Conquer the Tower a tremendous success.
