Confederation College release
THUNDER BAY – Beginning Tuesday roadwork will begin on Red Lake Road, located on the east side of the Confederation College campus.
This will result in road closures that may impact vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The work is being carried out by Taranis Contracting with Hatch Corporation consulting and is scheduled to be complete by mid-August.
Red Lake Road will be closed to all traffic between Sibley Drive and Keewatin Street. This means that Parking Lot C will not be accessible during construction. Parking lots D, O, B and the Thunder Bay Art Gallery’s parking lot will be accessible using an alternate entrance.
All visitors to the College should be sure to follow signage and respect fencing and barricades during construction (staying outside of the construction zone).
There will be brief periods where intersections (marked with an asterisk on the attached map) will be closed. The College will provide updates in advance of those disruptions.
