Walsh Street between Kingsway Avenue and Waterloo Street will be closed from Friday morning until Saturday.
Construction crews will be upgrading the CN Rail crossing and the road around it.
Drivers in that area will have to find an alternate until Sunday, which is when the construction is expected to conclude.
