THUNDER BAY – The Ministry of Education is inviting citizens to participate in an upcoming consultation on the education system in Ontario.
In an effort to prepare Ontario students for success, the government has launched a consultation on the education system in Ontario, including a replacement sexual education curriculum to replace the 2015 plan put in place by the Liberals, which was scrapped this summer by the Conservatives after taking the reins of power in June.
Registration for the first Northwestern Ontario consultation, which begins on Friday, is available online.
The ministry is hoping to address concerns and get feedback in several areas of the education system.
Consultation closing date is Dec. 15.
