THUNDER BAY -- City police have arrested three men in connection with a Wednesday night robbery.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the clerk advised police that a man had entered the Commissary Convenience Store around 7:30 p.m. with a balaclava and demanded money while pointing a syringe at him.

The man left the store after taking some cash and was seen running into a McLaughlin Street residence with two other men.

Officers arrived at the apartment and the investigation led police to be able to identify the three men as matching the descriptors of the individuals responsible for the incident.

All three men were arrested and transported to the police station. They appeared in court Thursday morning and have been remanded into custody.

William Gvora, James Furioso and Hank Proulx have been charged with robbery. Proulx has also been charged with two counts of breach of probation.
