A late night tentative agreement averted another strike at Thunder Bay’s Bombardier plant.
Members with the Canadian Office and Professional Employees Union reached a tentative agreement with the company Friday night. The union's 138 office staff members, engineers and technicians employed at Bombardier had threatened to walk off the job on Saturday if they were unable to reach an agreement.
The members will vote on whether or not to accept the deal at the Victoria Inn at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
