THUNDER BAY – City council on Monday is expected to appoint Patty Robinet as Thunder Bay’s acting city solicitor.

Robinet has been working for the city for the past six years and is a law graduate of the University of Windsor, called to the bar in 2005.

Nadia Koltun, who has served as city solicitor since 2012, left the position on Oct. 16.

The city solicitor provides legal representation to the City of Thunder Bay, council, staff and related boards on matters related to the city’s business and operations.

The legal services division also handles the city’s corporate risk management.
