Thunder Bay's elected officials and city staff are going to hear what you think about the job they've been doing.
City council gets back to business tonight with its first regular meeting since its summer hiatus several weeks ago.
One of the items on the agenda will be the release of the 2013 Citizen Satisfaction Survey. The City hires Ipsos Reid to conduct the survey every two years.
The survey looks at top of mind issues in Thunder Bay and satisfaction with city services. In 2011, 86 per cent of residents indicated they were at least somewhat satisfied with the quality of services.
Road maintenance and policing were cited as the top services in need of improvement. Council will also hear a presentation from the Indian Friendship Centre.
Officials from the Friendship Centre want to discuss plans for a partnership with the city for a proposed youth centre.
City staff will also recommend council approve-in-principle support for the Thunder Bay Art Gallery's new location on the waterfront.
The cost is estimated at $25-million. The current timeline would see the new facility open in late 2017.
