One of the larger condo developments going up in this city is about to get bigger.
The Club Residence, now under construction at the Thunder Bay Country Club, could grow by 29 units if Council approves the plan Monday night.
The original plan saw 80 units in the six-storey mixed-use building. The developer is now asking for an increase to 109 units. The building design has been modified but the height of the structure will remain the same.
The building will also contain the golf course pro shop, clubhouse, restaurant and banquet facility.
The planning division is supportive of the increase in units.
Council will also get an update on the local food strategy.
The city recently hired a full-time coordinator for the strategy through Eco-Superior.
