THUNDER BAY -- City Council will try to figure out what 2017 is going to look like from a fiscal perspective Monday evening.
City councillors meet at city hall for a regular scheduled council meeting where discussion about a temporary tax levy is expected to take place. The temporary levy will be in place until council finalizes the amounts required for the upcoming 2017 budget.
Monday evening's agenda also features the Lakehead Transportation Museum Society, which will release its progress on efforts to attain the icebreak Alexander Henry and its transportation back the Thunder Bay.
The mayor will also present his annual state of the city address.
