THUNDER BAY — The number of active COVID-19 cases at the Southbridge Roseview long-term care home in Thunder Bay continues to decline.
This morning the operator of the Shuniah Street facility reported 40 active resident cases and 21 active cases involving Southbridge Roseview staff.
The total of 61 cases is six fewer than what was reported on Sunday, and 10 fewer than the number of cases reported on Friday.
Since the outbreak was declared on Nov. 18 by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, three residents of the nursing home have died after contracting the virus.
Southbridge Roseview is a 157-bed facility.
