THUNDER BAY -- School may be out, but the contact tracing still goes on.

Lakehead Public Schools on Tuesday announced the Thunder Bay District Health Unit is following up after a person associated with Sherbrooke Public School tested positive for COVID-19.

The board, in a release, said while there is no evidence the virus spread at the school, it noted this is the second case associated with the facility. However, the individual who tested positive did attend the school last week, so contacts are being followed up with and high-risk ones will be contacted by a public health nurse with instructions of what they need to do.
