THUNDER BAY — Another resident of the Southbridge Roseview long-term care home in Thunder Bay has passed away after contracting the COVID-19 virus.

The company posted the information on its website Wednesday morning.

This is the 20th fatality in the 157-bed nursing home since an outbreak was declared in mid-November.

Despite the death of another resident, the number of active COVID-19 cases has been trending steadily downward recently.

As of this morning, Southbridge reports seven active cases involving residents, and six cases involving members of its staff.
