THUNDER BAY – Passengers on a recent Toronto-Thunder Bay flight could have been exposed to COVID-19, health authorities warn.

The advisory applies to all passengers who flew on Air Canada flight AC395 on Aug. 10.

Those passengers are advised to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days, and isolate immediately and contact public health if symptoms develop.

The affected rows on the flight are listed as “unknown,” indicating either the infected individual was a member of the flight crew, or their seat couldn’t be confirmed.

The advisory was posted on a federal website that tracks exposures on planes, trains, inter-city or inter-provincial buses, and cruise ships.

Note: An earlier version of this article stated that the flight in question was on Aug. 15. It has been updated to reflect that the flight was on Aug. 10.
