THUNDER BAY - An outbreak of COVID-19 on the fourth floor living unit at Hogarth Riverview Manor has been declared over.
The outbreak was first declared on Jan. 12 after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. The outbreak affected the fourth floor units Lilac - 4 South and Iris - 4 North.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit declared the outbreak over on Monday. Precautions were expanded following the outbreak, and were in addition to measures already in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Two previous COVID-19 outbreaks have been announced at Hogarth Riverview Manor. One was resolved in May with no further infections detected after a single staff member tested positive. Another was declared Jan. 1 involving a single staff member.
