THUNDER BAY – A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at another local school.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit and Lakehead Public Schools confirmed an outbreak Friday at Gorham & Ware Community School.
At this time, five individuals associated with the school have tested positive for COVID-19.
Other individuals who may have been exposed (high-risk contacts) will be contacted by public health.
Impacted classes and cohorts have been dismissed from the school, but the school remains open.
