THUNDER BAY — A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Jasper Place.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced the outbreak declaration for the assisted living facility on Friday
No information was provided about the extent of the outbreak.
The health unit said it has initiated a thorough assessment of the situation, and that further measures will be taken as needed to manage this situation.
The health unit added that significant measures were already in place to reduce likelihood of the virus spreading within the facility
