COVID outbreak declared at Hogarth Riverview Manor

THUNDER BAY — An outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared at Hogarth Riverview Manor long-term care home on Lillie Street.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit made the announcement Friday afternoon.

It said the outbreak is in the Birch Grove resident home area of the facility, which is operated by St. Joseph's Care Group.

TBDHU has initiated a thorough assessment of the situation.

Further measures will be taken as needed to manage this situation.
