THUNDER BAY — A new COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Hogarth Riverview Manor.

The Thunder Bay district Health Unit and St. Joseph's Care Group announced an outbreak Tuesday in the Orchid Resident Home area of the 544-bed nursing home.

As usual, details about the extent of the outbreak were not disclosed.

TBDHU is currently releasing updated data on the incidence of COVID-19 in its service area every Thursday.

Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre reported Monday that it had 20 patients admitted who have tested positive for COVID-19.

One of these patients was in the ICU.
