THUNDER BAY -- A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Wequedong Lodge.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit on Monday confirmed two individuals associated with the facility have tested positive for the virus and determined the transmission had taken place at the lodge.
The transmission occurred outside the resident care areas.
Additional measures and surveillance have been put in place to limit further spread of the virus.
