THUNDER BAY – Confederation College says individuals associated with the Thunder Bay school community have tested positive for COVID-19 as a result of off-campus activities.

The school, in a release issued on Wednesday, said the individuals visited the Thunder Bay campus prior to learning they had tested positive.

The school, in conjunction with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, has investigated possible exposure and deemed the risk is low to anyone in the college community on campus at this time.

All areas accessed by the individuals involved have been thoroughly cleaned.

A college release did not specify the number of individuals or if it was students or staff who had tested positive. There is also no indication when the individuals were on site.
