Three teenagers were able to walk back to shore safely after they took a stroll out onto the partially frozen Lake Superior.

Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue as well as Thunder Bay Police Service officers were at the ready as they waited for the three teenagers to make it back to shore on Saturday. The teenagers had walked out onto the ice near Prince Arthur’s Landing and had made it close to the break wall.

A large crowd formed to watch as the youth were waved to come back in.

Police cautioned the youth not to go out again.
