CWE tour coming to Northwestern Ontario

The Rumble To Remember Tour is coming to seven Ontario cities this fall, with Northern Ontario stops in Marathon, Thunder Bay, and Fort Frances.

THUNDER BAY – Canadian Wrestling’s Elite (CWE) is bringing its Rumble To Remember Tour to seven Ontario cities this fall, including three stops in Northwestern Ontario.

The tour runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4.

The tour will feature Davey Boy Smith Jr., a former WWE Tag Team Champion and current competitor in All Japan Pro Wrestling. Smith, the son of the late wrestling icon The British Bulldog, will be making his first appearances wrestling in Ontario with CWE.

Smith has competed internationally and held titles in major wrestling organizations, including WWE, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and NWA. He is also a former CWE Central Canadian Champion and recently completed a run as Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion in Japan.

Joining him is international star Chase Owens, returning to CWE for the first time in seven years. Owens was a regular on CWE tours from 2014 to 2018 before rising to prominence in New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he has won the IWGP World Tag Team Championship three times and joined the House of Torture stable.

Northwestern Ontario stops include:

  • Oct. 2 – Marathon
  • Oct. 3 – Thunder Bay
  • Oct. 4 – Fort Frances

Each event will feature a full lineup of professional wrestling matches, including the Over-The-Rope Rumble Main Event, which headlines every night of the tour.
