THUNDER BAY – Environment Canada has issued another severe thunderstorm warning for the city of Thunder Bay.

The government weather agency says meteorologists are tracking a dangerous storm capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult and utility outages are likely.

The public is advised to take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches and if outside, to protect oneself from flying debris and hail.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

The warning is also in place in Cloud Bay and Dorion, as well as Kakabeka Falls and most communities in and around the Thunder Bay and surrounding area.
