A date has finally been set for an inquest into a 2006 death at the Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Bruce Moonias, 27, died in December of 2006, after being taken into custody by the Nishnawbe-Aski Police and the OPP.
The proceeding will examine the circumstances that led to Moonias death with the aim of preventing similar occurrences.
It will get underway Oct. 21 at Thunder Bay's Ontario Government Building and is expected to take three weeks to complete.
Twenty-two witnesses have been scheduled.
