THUNDER BAY -- The body of a male has been recovered from an industrial property on McKellar Island.
A passerby called 911 to report having sighted a body around 5:30 p.m.
An ambulance and Crime Scene Unit vehicle passed through the security gate at Thunder Bay Terminals but a Thunder Bay Police Service spokesman said the body was not recovered on Thunder Bay Terminals' property.
Police confirmed the man did not pass away from any kind of industrial accident.
A post-mortem is being ordered but officers on the scene said the death does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
An investigation is underway.
