While nothing official has been announced, sources told tbnewswatch.com Tuesday evening that Delta Hotels is expected to be named as the hotelier for the city’s waterfront.

A page on the Brook McIlroy Urban Design and Planning website detailed how BMI/Pace was retained by Delta and Resolve group to begin the design and construction process for the eight-floor, 102 room hotel.

The website page that named the Delta and Resolve group as a client has since been removed, however a cached page on Google remains with a short description of the hotel plans.

While the page doesn’t specifically refer to the Delta Hotels chain, instead naming the Delta and Resolve group, sources close to the waterfront development told tbnewswatch.com Tuesday evening that they believe Delta Hotels is the waterfront hotelier.

On Monday, city manager Tim Commisso said the hotel would have a four-star rating.

The now removed webpage also stated the hotel would include a conference centre and spa.
