THUNDER BAY -- Residents should soon see some visible signs of progress on construction of the waterfront's new Delta-Marriott Hotel.
ReSolve Group president Gisele McDonald said elevator shafts have reached the 4th floor, which means it's tall enough to begin installing some of the hotel's largest beams.
Construction workers began securing these red steel beams Wednesday morning.
McDonald says the hotel is on schedule and people will soon be able to see significant progress once these beams are installed.
The Delta Marriott is expected to be completed by fall of 2018.
