District’s EMS chief gets promotion

The Chief of Superior North EMS has been handed an upgraded title. Norm Gale is now the president of the Association of Municipal Emergency Medical Services of Ontario. Gale was a unanimous choice at the association's recent annual conference.

The Chief of Superior North EMS has been handed an upgraded title.

Norm Gale is now the president of the Association of Municipal Emergency Medical Services of Ontario. Gale was a unanimous choice at the association's recent annual conference.

He is expected to serve a three-year term.

Gale has been the chief of the district EMS since 2007.
