An alleged hit-and-run incident on Poleline Road Thursday that killed a pair of dogs has police seeking the driver of a green pick-up truck.
Police said the incident occurred about about 12:20 p.m. A 17-year-old girl walking the dogs on leads had stopped to talk to a passing motorist when the truck drove past headed westbound, striking the Labrador dogs, who died at the scene.
A male was behind the wheel.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Thunder Bay Police traffic division.
