Domestic dispute leads police to marijuana grow op

Police discovered a pot stash while responding to a domestic dispute in Marathon Tuesday. OPP in Marathon responded to the dispute after receiving a report about an assault at a home in that community Tuesday afternoon.

OPP in Marathon responded to the dispute after receiving a report about an assault at a home in that community Tuesday afternoon.

The investigation led to evidence of a grow operation within the home. After a search, police found marijuana plants and loose marijuana.

The OPP estimates the street value of the narcotics discovered is about $34,000.

A 57-year-old man now faces a variety of drug-related charges and one count of assault.
