THUNDER BAY – Hundreds of customers are affected by a power outage in the Mapleward Road area just west of Thunder Bay, Synergy North reported Monday morning.
Downed wires were responsible for the outage, which was expected to be resolved by noon, the company said in a social media post. The company later added that restoration for some customers on Belrose Road could take until 1 p.m.
An estimated 250 to 500 customers were affected by the outage in an area west of Highway 11/17 to Mapleward, between Oliver and John Street roads.
Power had been restored to most customers shortly before before 11 a.m., the company said.
Updates on outages are available at the Synergy North website.
