THUNDER BAY – The driver involved in Friday afternoon’s crash on Oliver Road remains in hospital in serious condition.
Emergency crews responded just before 2 p.m. to the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Oliver and Mapleward roads.
In a release issued Friday, city police said the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Oliver Road, left the roadway and struck a tree on the north side of the road.
Thunder Bay Police Service declared the road between Gratton and Mapleward roads re-opened at 8:45 p.m. Friday.
