THUNDER BAY - An early morning collision at a busy intersection has sent one person to hospital.
Just after 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Thunder Bay Police, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, and Superior North EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Memorial Avenue and the Harbour Expressway.
One driver appears to have suffered a medical emergency, which was a factor in the collision. The driver was taken to hospital and is in serious condition.
The intersection remains partially closed while the Thunder Bay Traffic unit conducts an investigation. Drivers should expect delays in this area.
