Drug charges laid in Sioux Lookout

OPP lay drug charges against three individuals following a drug trafficking investigation last month.

SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. – Three individuals are facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation last month in Sioux Lookout.

Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police arrested three people on Sept. 17 in relation to drug trafficking in Sioux Lookout.

During the investigation, police found and seized suspected illicit substances, which include cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, morphine, drug-trafficking paraphernalia and about $8,000 in cash.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged Logan Krassilowsky, 22, from Dryden, has been charged with trafficking of schedule I substance – crystal methamphetamine, possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, unauthorized possession of a weapon and failure to comply with release order.

Police laid charges against Leah Whitney, 21, from Sioux Lookout for possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Police also charged Ricky Polny, 51, from Sioux Lookout, with possession of a schedule I substance – crystal methamphetamine and possession of a schedule I substance – morphine.
