Dryden OPP arrest man after more than 400 cannabis plants and firearms seized

A man is facing charges after OPP in Dryden seized more than 400 Cannabis plants and 19 firearms on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020.

DRYDEN - Dryden Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a 48-year-old man following a drug seizure on Wednesday where more than 400 cannabis plants were seized.

Daniel Lethbridge, 48, of Dinorwic has been charged with propagate or harvest a cannabis plant that is from a seed or plant material that is illicit cannabis and cultivate, propagate or harvest more than four cannabis plants, according to an OPP release issued Thursday, Nov. 5.

Dryden OPP along with members of the Community Street Crime Unit, Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau executed the search warrant at a Southworth Township, east of Dryden, on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Police say 406 Cannabis plants were located and seized inside the residence as well as 19 firearms.

Lethbridge was release from custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on Dec. 7 for his next court appearance.
