DRYDEN — The operator of a motorized snow vehicle has been left with serious injuries after Dryden OPP responded to a collision on Saturday west of Dryden.
In a news release issued Monday, Jan. 11, Ontario Provincial Police said they were dispatched on Jan. 9 after receiving reports of a single motorized snow vehicle collision in Zealand Township.
Police located the operator of the snow vehicle who had been ejected. The individual was transported to Dryden Regional Health Centre with serious injuries.
The OPP is reminding individuals who operate motorized snow vehicles to drive safely and carry an emergency kit with them at all times. The kit should include a cell phone, backup charging device, a whistle, spare clothing, emergency food, tools and a first aid kit. For more information, visit opp.ca
