Dryden police charge four with trafficking drugs

Police charged four with trafficking after a search found marijuana and Oxycontin at a King Street residence. Dryden Police Service officers used a search warrant to search the residence on Thursday.

Dryden Police Service officers used a search warrant to search the residence on Thursday. Police entered and arrested four people: Police say they believe drugs were being sold at the residence for some time. Police seized marijuana, Oxycontin and cash from the residence. Police say they also found a number of unidentifiable pills that would need to be tested.

Police charged a 21-year-old and a 46-year-old with trafficking marijuana. Police also charged a 21-year-old with trafficking marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycontin.

Police arrested a 22-year-old-man but later released him.

The three accused will appear in court in Dryden in July.
