Dryden police investigating multiple break and enters

Dryden Police are busy trying to locate suspects involved in a number of break and enters.

DRYDEN, Ont. – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in the investigations of a number of break and enters in Dryden in the last few days.

Dryden Police Service officers say sometime between June 2 and June 4, suspects entered a number of buildings located at Dryden Agricultural Society Fairgrounds.

The suspects entered a number of buildings including the Agricultural Centre, the Chip Box, the Lions Club Building and the Corn on the Cob Booth.

A quantity of food, beverages and equipment were removed and the building sustained some damage.

Police also received a complaint Tuesday from Home Hardware of a break and enter that occurred sometime during the previous night.

A number of power tools and other items that were removed from the store were later discovered near the Home Hardware property.

Police received another report Tuesday of a stolen electrical box from the construction site at the old Pinewood School located on 91 Rourke Avenue.
