NEWS RELEASE
DRYDEN POLICE SERVICE
**************************
Traditionally, the Dryden Police Service has partnered with the Christmas Cheer Program, conducting the annual Stuff a Cruiser/EMS Vehicle at various locations within the City of Dryden. Along with our partners from the Ministry of Natural Resources & Forestry, Ontario Provincial Police, Northwest EMS and Dryden Fire Service, we accepted donations of unwrapped toys and non-perishable food for children and families in need during the Christmas season.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, the Christmas Cheer Program 2020 has had to make modification to their program in that they will not be accepting toy and food donations. As a result, the Dryden Police Service will not be participating in the Stuff a Cruiser/EMS Vehicle this year. We look forward to next years Christmas events.
The Christmas Cheer Program is still looking for monetary donation in an effort to assist people in need this holiday season. Monetary donations (cheques) can be mailed to Christmas Cheer, 53 Arthur Street, Dryden, ON P8N 1J7 or interact e-transfer to [email protected].
Please note that the Dryden Food Bank is still accepting and in need of donations of non-perishable food items and the Dryden Police Service is still moving forward with our Reverse Advent Calendar Food Drive!
