DRYDEN, Ont. - Dryden Police have arrested a man wanted in connection to an attempted robbery near the Dryden High School.
Roy Mitchell Fobister, 30, was arrested Friday evening and is facing charges of robbery with a weapon and failing to comply with probation.
The incident took place on Oct. 24 just after 9 a.m. in a parking lot beside the Dryden High School.
Police said a student was held at knifepoint and Fobister demanded a cell phone. Fobister fled the scene without obtaining any property after observing several other witnesses in the area.
The student did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
