Dryden Police Service reverse advent calendar a huge success

Dryden Food Bank picked up more than 3,900 pounds of donated non-perishable food items from the advent calender event.

DRYDEN -- The Dryden Police Service recently held their reverse advent calendar event and have announced that it was a huge success.

They would like to thank the citizens of Dryden Community Partners, and everyone who donated to their Reverse Advent Calendar initiative.

This good drive’s focus is to help address food insecurities in the community.

As a result, and as of Dec.8, the Dryden Food Bank picked up more than 3,900 pounds of donated non-perishable food items from the Police Service.

Dryden Chief of Police, Douglas A. Palson and the Dryden Police Service, expressed their thanks to all who donated so generously to this wonderful and important initiative.
