EAR FALLS – A motor vehicle collision in Ear Falls has resulted in impaired driving charges for one man.
According to an Ear Falls Ontario Provincial Police release, officers received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Nov. 2 around 9:30 p.m. near Poplar Avenue.
Police say the driver was located and it was determined they had been consuming alcohol.
The driver was placed under arrest and taken to the detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old of Ear Falls was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and uttering threats.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in Red Lake court on Dec. 16 to answer to his charges.
