Police charged a 21-year-old-woman in connection to a stabbing that happened early Saturday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service’s Eye in the Street reported an assault that took place at the intersection of Brodie Street and Victoria Avenue around 3 a.m. Police found a 25-year-old-woman who had been stabbed in the midsection. Paramedics took the woman to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for non-life threatening injuries.
Police later found the accused in an apartment building in the downtown area and charged her with assault with a weapon.
She will appear in court Saturday.
