Earth Hour produces no results in Thunder Bay

Officials with Thunder Bay Hydro say they didn't detect any signs of energy conservation during Earth-Hour. Residents across the globe were encouraged to turn off their lights from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Officials with Thunder Bay Hydro say they didn't detect any signs of energy conservation during Earth-Hour. 

Residents across the globe were encouraged to turn off their lights from 8:30 to 9:30  p.m. Saturday, but usage actually increased slightly during that hour.
 
Hydro officials say cold weather more than likely played a factor.
