A plane flying from Attawapiskat to Thunder Bay was forced to make an emergency landing in Geraldton on Wednesday afternoon.
Greenstone Mayor Renald Beaulieu said the twin-engine plane, owned by Thunder Airlines, lost power to one engine.
There were 10 people on board, and no injuries reported. There were unconfirmed reports the passengers were Attawapiskat band officials on their way to a meeting in Thunder Bay on Thursday with Aboriginal Affairs Minister John Duncan.
They've were picked up by another plane en route to Thunder Bay.
