THUNDER BAY – A special weather statement has been issued for the city of Thunder Bay.
According to Environment Canada, an intense low pressure system is expected to bring snow and blowing snow to areas near western Lake Superior on Sunday and Monday.
Some areas could see in excess of 25 centimetres of snow by Monday afternoon.
Travel is expected to rapidly deteriorate Sunday morning.
