THUNDER BAY -- Two of the major airlines serving the Thunder Bay International Airport have grounded all Wednesday flights coming and going from the city.

As of 10:30 a.m., all Air Canada and Porter flights scheduled to depart and arrive have been cancelled.

WestJet has cancelled three flights from Thunder Bay to Toronto, as well as two arriving flights from the provincial capital. A pair of flights to Winnipeg, as well as one coming from the west, have also been grounded. The airline still has evening flights listed as being scheduled.

A number of Bearskin Airlines, Wasaya Airways and North Star Air flights have also been affected.

Please check with your airline before heading to the airport.
